Arleas's Challenge to Artisans

Mernac is just so darn full of ridiculously talented artisans that I had to beg for help.
I could go down to bended knee and beg the old fashioned way, but silver paves many fine paths.
Here's the link to the pertinent forum: Arleas's Challenge. This is where artisans can post their WIP or just jabber about whatever related to the making of. That part is always fascinating, for me anyway.

And here's a reiteration of the important stuff. All artisans are invited to participate. Read the Quest for Celnadon as it goes up chapter by chapter (1-2 a week), and submit pictures to illustrate the scene. Once a week goes by with at least one picture being submitted, I'll pay 1 silver to the artisan who created the pic. If more than one is submitted, I'll pay 2 or 3 different artisans 1 silver...aye, here's the rub. I have quite a bit of silver but it's not endless so I'm setting a tentative cap at 25.
One other note: Keep the pics pg-13 ish. If you have any questions about what that means, feel free to pm me. Basically, that means keep it clean enough to show your kid brother. Yes, Mernac is a site for artists and writers who happen to be adults, but if someone younger blunders in I want the pics on my stories to be gentle on their eyes.

BTW, everyone is encouraged to donate silver to the deserving artisans anyway...they work very very hard.

Prologue: Leap of Faith
Chapter 1: Hot End, Cold Comfort

If you accept my challenge, I look forward to tipping you much silver.

Very impressive. I particularly appreciate your emphasis on the process discussion. As an "not an artist but wish I could be" I'd love to "sit in" on these work-in-process discussions. Great idea!

Thanks, Frosty,

There should be some interesting conversations:-)

You and I can sit there and be envious of all the artisan talent being wielded and shown off. I think sometimes people are shy about sharing stuff like that b/c they think no one cares or something.

They'd actually have to be "cleaner" than what I could show to my kid brother. He has already told me that some of my "less risque" images are "pornographic". Which they're not, but he's gotten very strange since he joined the fundamentalists who believe in driving the demons out of Little mermaid dolls.

Interesting. Ariel never struck me as the devil's tool, but okay...point taken
